Lively, William Irven. The mystic mountains... 1955. Not as aesthetically pleasing a publication as Lively's others. Poor drawings too. Uses his reason and logic to bridge over a few facts to reach highly speculative conclusions. A very poor example of a thinking man's approach. Seems much more dated in style and content than the 1955 date suggests. TB: "...an interesting and relatively rational little work, in contrast to many of the other pamphlet writers." CM: "Contains seldom-encountered information on the Superstition Mountains of Arizona, with emphasis on the Indians that have inhabited the area. Includes the legend of the Lost Dutchman Mine."
